Like most of my fellow compatriots, I have been patiently waiting for the day when the following are surplus to requirement: coats, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, central heating and hairy, pasty legs.
Cor blimey winter hasn’t half dragged, but I think it is now safe to say that we’re in the final 100m dash to the finish line.
In anticipation of the warmer, sunnier months, I have been stalking the internet for suitably summery goods, and in-so-doing I’ve noticed that I’ve been homing in like a rapacious truffle pig towards a particular type of product.
Raffia – a potentially lovely name for a girl – is not quite prolific, thank goodness, but is certainly popular as a material for fashion accessories right now.
